The world's largest free zone- DMCC, and the DP World subsidy- JAFZA, has collaborated over the state-of-art logistics and warehouses (of JAFZA), enabling the DMCC member companies to access to the solutions, the two free zones have revealed.
The chief executive officer and managing director of DP World, Mohammed Al Muallem, and Ahmed bin Sulayem, the executive chairperson and CEO of DMCC, signed a Collaboration Agreement, reports DMCC News.
As per this agreement, all the business set up of the DMCC will gain access to the world-class warehousing and logistics of JAFZA, at no extra charge, CEO of DMCC, Ahmed bin Sulayem said.
He elaborated that this Collaboration essentially incentivizes the DMCC member corporations by enabling access to the facility available at JAFZA, adding that this will also "streamline our business process to support our customers."
"Since its establishment almost thirty-five years ago, JAFZA has played a crucial role in making Dubai the global center for trade it is today," Ahmed bin Sulayem stated.
